ACTIVE MYROSINASE - Freeze-dried raw to preserve active Myrosinase enzyme. Each batch is 3rd party tested to ensure the myrosinase is active.
GLUCORAPHANIN (Sulforaphane Glucosinolate) - 3rd Party tested for Glucoraphanin content. Glucoraphanin turns into Sulforaphane when Myrosinase is present and water is added.

Tips for evaluating Broccoli Sprout Powder

Start with the taste and smell - A broccoli sprout powder should taste and smell like broccoli sprouts. Our powder is made by freeze-drying whole sprouts (including the seed portion) and grinding them into a powder. It has a very fresh broccoli sprout taste and scent. If the broccoli sprout powder has more of a toasted taste it has most likely been drum dried (a high heat process that will deactivate the myrosinase enzyme). Our powder is 100% pure and freeze-dried to maintain the myrosinase enzyme activity.
Color - When you look closely at our powder you will see that it is light brown (sprout portion) with flecks of darker brown (outer seed portion). Our powder is 100% pure broccoli sprout with nothing added in. If all of the powder is darker brown the powder has most likely been drum dried which is a high heat process that will deactivate the myrosinase enzyme.
