If you love pumpkin bread, this recipe will be everything you've been looking for. Easy to make and extra healthy with the addition of our organic freeze-dried beet powder. You'll get a moist, dense, and delicious loaf of bread.
Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup of canned pumpkin (not pumpkin pie filling)
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 tablespoon baking powder
2 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 large eggs
1/2 cup organic cane sugar
1/4 cup of maple syrup (brown sugar if you do not have maple syrup)
1 teaspoon cinnamon
2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
1/2 cup melted butter
1/4 cup apple cider
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 scoops of KOYAH beet powder
Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and spray a 8x4 inch loaf pan with non-stick spray or rub butter all over the inside.
2. In a large bowl, mix all of your dry ingredients
3. In the same bowl add the dry ingredients. Add the pumpkin puree, maple syrup, eggs, butter, apple cider, and vanilla extract. Mix everything together. The batter should be thick and almost fluffy.
4. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake at 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
