Açaí Jam

Açaí Jam

Making homemade Açaí jam makes you feel like a kitchen superhero. This jam is perfect for your morning toast or your kid's peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Homemade Açaí jam is easy to make and made with simple ingredients. For the recipe, follow the steps below.

Ingredients:

4 cups frozen blueberries or 4 1/2 cups fresh blueberries
4 tbsp freshly squeezed orange
5 tbsp maple syrup or liquid sweetener of your choice
4 tbsp chia seeds
2 scoops KOYAH Açaí powder

Instructions:

  1. Add berries, orange juice, and maple syrup to a saucepan. Cook over medium heat and occasionally stir for 20 minutes. The berries should start to break down and burst.
  2. Remove from heat and add in the chia seeds and KOYAH Açaí powder. If the jam is too thick, stir in extra orange juice, one tablespoon at a time.
  3. Allow to cool, and then spoon into glass jars. The jam will last in the refrigerator for up to 10 days, or it can be frozen in glass jars (leave at least 1 inch of space at the top of the jar).
